      Interview

The interview process for Clipboard Health has been described by others, and I concur with their sentiments. One aspect of the process that stands out is the requirement for a comprehensive case study analysis, which can be an incredibly time-consuming task. This involves conducting thorough research, analyzing the data, writing and revising the report, and then editing it to perfection. Despite investing significant effort, there is a high chance you do not proceed to the interview phase, which can be incredibly discouraging. Additionally, it's disheartening to consider that the company may utilize the insights generated from the extensive case studies submitted by applicants without any compensation.

      Interview

First you complete a case study, then you talk to the hiring manager for the role. That will be followed by another take-home case study that is a little longer and more in depth. That's as far as I got in the process, but they gave me helpful feedback after the second case study on what to improve

      Interview

Applied Online > Prompt Follow-Up from Recruiter (automated response suspected) Echoing all other reviews here, I received a prompt invitation from a recruiter inviting me to complete and submit a case study. The case study in question was an interesting problem and did provide the chance to demonstrate written and analytical skills. But the positive ends there.. The offline submission of the completed case without any live presentation was a red flag. Against my better judgement, I ignored all reviews here and spent >10 hours completing the case and received a prompt rejection 2 days after submission. It appears that the Clipboard HR / Recruiting team is well aware of this egregious practice but has chosen to be blind and defensive in its practices. Case studies as an evaluation aren't bad but it's just disappointing to have to invest such a long time towards one and not receive so much as an introductory call, basic mutual fit assessment or even feedback on the case. You are being disingenuous to candidates and signaling how self-righteous you consider yourselves. While you will get away with it in the current hot labor market, there will definitely come a time when the candidate pool will dwindle, who are unwilling to put up with this joke of an interview process. My 2 cents: Conduct a basic introductory and screening round. There are no excuses for skipping this. If you must have a case study as the first line interview, design it such that folks aren't spending more than 5 hours on it just for the opportunity to speak to someone.
