      Interview

I recently had a rather disappointing experience with Clipboard Health, and I feel compelled to share my feedback. To sum it up, I would rate my experience with them a mere 1 out of 5 stars. The process began with a take-home case instead of a screening call, which immediately struck me as odd. I was expecting a preliminary conversation to discuss my qualifications and the role in more detail, but instead, I was thrown into a time-consuming assignment without any prior interaction. What added insult to injury was the rejection I received the very next day. It was disheartening to realize that the case seemed to serve no purpose other than to extract free consultation from me. I had invested my time and effort in completing the task, only to be met with a swift rejection without any meaningful feedback or explanation. As a candidate, I value a fair and transparent recruitment process. Sadly, my experience with Clipboard Health left me feeling used and undervalued. It is essential for companies to respect candidates' time and efforts, particularly when asking them to complete assignments that require considerable investment. A more considerate and transparent hiring process would go a long way in attracting and retaining top talent. As it stands, I cannot recommend Clipboard Health based on my personal experience. Prospective candidates should be aware of this potential pitfall and be cautious when engaging in the hiring process with Clipboard Health.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We're sorry to hear you weren't satisfied with our process. We’ve found that case studies are the best way to ensure that people who join Clipboard succeed in their role and at the company. We’ve also gotten feedback that they're a great way for candidates to get a feel for what they’ll tackle once on the team. We do not use case study submissions for any purpose other than evaluating candidates in our recruiting process. Thank you again for sharing this feedback.

I spent several days doing the take home case study. I was rejected with no feedback with a general email response. It was a waste of my time & honestly wish I hadn't taken the bait.

As the pricing PM for Lyft's ride-scheduling launch in Toledo, how would you determine the optimal driver payout (by adjusting Lyft's take, without raising the $25 rider price) to maximize net revenue over the next 12 months given the provided CAC, churn, ride volume, match-rate, and pricing experiment data?

      Interview

Several different case studies and behavioral rounds felt like they were farming ideas rather than actually interviewing someone to join the team. The questions weren't difficult, and the case studies weren't challenging. The interviewer definitely didn't read the case study because the feedback I received was generic and also addressed directly in my answers in the case study. Like others have already stated, negative interview process. Plus as soon as I was rejected, I got an interview request from someone else on the team for the same role!
