Informal interview with a recent grad that focused on the quantitative side of a case. The interviewer was mainly interested in theoretical answers, emphasizing abstract and academic concepts rather than practical realities.
Their responses to questions about the company definitely reflected a “throw ideas at the wall and see what sticks” mentality. Overall, it felt like they’re in that awkward scale-up phase—full of grand theories that still need refining and constantly chasing the next big thing.
