      Interview

They gave a take home assignment and then no update after that. No feedback was provided, no communication. I think some feedback or a reject emails is the minimum they can do for candidates that spend time on their assignment

      Interview

They gave a long take-home test for the role. I had gone through all of the reviews here and found that no one ever got hired. Candidates claimed that Clipboard was just making them do free work in the name of a take-home test. However, I decided to go ahead with the test and did my best, as I have good experience as a data analyst. The test was very lengthy and required 10-12 hours, consisting of one case study and an SQL task. I created a very well-documented case study. The SQL test was very basic. And as expected, I received a rejection email after a week. I can understand getting rejected in later interview rounds, but rejecting candidates after a well-documented task confirms that all the reviews were right—they just make potential candidates do free work that they can use. I haven't seen anyone get hired after the take-home test. Most hires are on-site hires. Please do not waste your time on this fraudulent company. If you want to experience it yourself, feel free to go ahead. I could have saved a lot of time if I had trusted the reviews here. Nowadays, many startups are following the same model. They provide extensive case studies and tasks in the first stage, only to reject candidates after selecting the best submissions. Free work without paying a penny. I am sure this exploitative culture will keep growing.

      Interview

I applied online and received an email to complete a case study. Unfortunately, I hadn't read reviews beforehand, so I ended up wasting my time. The case study itself wasn't complicated, but it was time-consuming. After submitting my work, I never heard back from them—not even a rejection email. I find this to be quite an unethical recruitment process. It gives false hope to candidates, even those who are clearly not being considered. (I read online that they send the case study even if you submit an empty PDF as your CV.)
