After applying was immediately sent an Excel-based case study before speaking to a recruiter. It was pretty straightforward but also fairly time-consuming. Had one interview based on that case and was sent another longer case. This was focused on speaking to people in a provided list of occupations (whether by cold call or otherwise), identifying a problem, and writing up a brief on a commercially viable solution. This had the potential to be extremely time-consuming and the only constraint was a limit on number of pages.
Overall this unusual interview format seemed to benefit those willing to spend significant time (10-15+ hrs) on the cases above all else.

It was a case based interview process. The conversations were fun - made me excited to work with the people I spoke to in the process and I felt like I was learning even in the process.
