Having an automatic case study sent to every single applicant is insane and unfair to applicants. I understand companies are getting inundated with applicants but putting the onus on them to complete a lengthly case study prior to a single person looking at their resume or speaking with them is a step too far. This perpetuates the trend of companies receiving free work in the form of case studies with no benefit to the applicant (they even mention they will not provide feedback).
