Interview
Applicants, be warned before applying to a role in this company. I had a very similar experience to the prior review. I applied for this role online and received notification that I was accepted to the next round. For the second round they offer you the option of either speaking to a recruiter for 15 minutes, at which time, you will receive your case study assignment OR they offer you to complete the case study analysis without speaking to anyone, which is (recommended). The case study consists of two separate parts. The first part should be "no longer than 5 pages" and the second should be no longer than "10 pages." They ask you to complete the assignment within seven days. The reasoning for giving the case study was that since they are a remote company, they want to see how you write and express your thoughts. Let me just say that I was almost an English major in college and have ghost written articles for newspapers for years. I would like to consider my writing developed and concise. I spent almost a day writing and editing nearly fifteen pages. I spent way more time than necessary (and for the estimated salary) completing this assignment. Once submitted, I received an email a few days later saying that they have enjoyed getting to know me, (without ever speaking to me), but I would not be moving forward. "Given that we are a fully remote company, we place a heavy emphasis on clear thinking that can be expressed in writing, as this is our primary method of communication." I received no further feedback and never spoke to anyone in the company. I was very skeptical when writing this case study based on the prior review. However, I have to admit that it really does look like this company is utilizing their position of power to receive a plethora of strategic plans and ideas from candidates. It was a very unfortunate experience and waste of time. I hope that the company rethinks its hiring process for the future.

Interview
1. Brief case study on pricing strategy and interview
2. Behavioural interview
3. Data analysis case study and interview
4. Interview with President
The case studies were a great way to gauge the type of work involved for this role. The interviews were mostly focused on the case studies (e.g. thought process behind the proposed solutions) and less so on past experiences, which is an opportunity to demonstrate your skills if you come from a non-tech background. Overall, the experience was great - I felt as though we were solving a business problem together during these interviews and it was an engaging discussion.
