I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at CloudKitchens
Interview
A recruiter on their team reached out to me asking for an interview, and sent over a calendar for interview sign up times. When I went to sign up to chat with her about the role, I noticed they make you sign an NDA first (not mentioned at all her in email), which included a strange non-compete clause.
I've never had someone ask me to sign an NDA prior to the first conversation, or include any form of a non-compete during an interview process.
Something felt really off and spammy so I didn't go through with it. I then continued to receive many repeat emails from the same recruiter, asking for an interview. I checked out their glassdoor "interview" section and something definitely feels off with them.

Interview
I was approached by a recruiter (red flag) about a job for which they couldn’t give me a job description for (another red flag). The recruiter sounded very excited about me and continued to reassure me about this along the way. They asked me to do a design exercise as a part of the interview process (another red flag). I spent about 30 hours on it. We seemed to be moving forward. They asked me to do some revisions to my design. Had another “interview” to probe me about my design, and then disappeared. Don’t get your hopes up.
