The interview process for this role was fairly quick and straightforward. Recruiter phone call, hiring manager video call, take home assignment, final panel presentation with other members of the team. The recruiter, Cody, was very kind and responsive throughout the entire process, which I really appreciated. The interviews were all pretty easy and the people I spoke with were all pretty nice. Everything went well until they came back after my final interview saying the salary range for the role had changed to be $20,000 less than what we had initially spoke about (which was already lower than standard for SF based roles). This was definitely a red flag to change the salary band last minute, and pay so low for a 5 day/wk in person role in SF.
