I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Cloudflare in May 2019
Interview
I applied on April 10th
May 14th - Just a month + 4 days: They came to me with first phone interview: ask for introduction, about my previous projects. This phone screening went very well. A few days later, they sent me a test on HackerRank.
May 22th: I still got no response from them about the test or next steps. I sent an follow-up email. I got back with the message: "I went out of the office, will get back to you by May 24th"
May 24th: Nothing from them.
May 30th: I wrote another follow-up email, then I received: "Thanks for your email. You're code is currently being reviewed and we will get back to you by the end of the week."
Later of the day, I got "Thank you for your interest in Cloudflare. We know there are a lot of companies out there that are hiring, and we appreciate that you took the time to consider us.
It was a pleasure to learn more about your skills and accomplishments, however, our team will not be moving forward with your application for the Systems Engineer position at this time.
We are a fast growing company, and our roles are constantly changing. Please continue to watch our job openings at Cloudflare Careers for future opportunities.
Until then, we wish you all the best in your endeavors!".

Recruiter phone screen followed by technical interview over Skype with an Engineering Manager. I declined the invitation to interview in person because I ended up accepting another offer from a different company.
