I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Cloudflare (Austin, TX) in Mar 2020
Interview
The interview process is LONG. Like 4+ weeks long. You start off by speaking with a manager on a 30min phone call. From this first day YOU MUST STUDY THE COMPANY. Must people don't move forward for lack of technical knowledge.
Then, 1 or 2 weeks later you met with 5 other managers, each one has 30 minutes to ask you question, answer your questions. You have to have a pitch/ presentation prepared so you must know technical questions and explain their products like if you were working there already.
Then if they liked you enough, you have to wait another 1 or 2 weeks and you meet with 2 directors. You MUST know about their product and do your research.
Finally, 1 week later you have a phone call with c-suite and if you don't mess up, you get an offer
Long process but they give you a clear idea of what to expect for each interview. 1. HR first screening 2. Hiring manager screening 3. Three panel interviews (Culture, Technical, Peer) 4. Executive interview
About a month long in total. Study for the interview if you want to suceed
Many stages but relatively quick. Only 2-3 weeks. Somewhat guarded with their opinions on how I went but after asking they were open. Some interview stages I felt were unnecessary but that's personal opinion.
The entire process involves 6 to 8 interviews, including a mock call. Overall, it is manageable but requires significant effort and preparation to succeed. It demands dedication throughout each stage.
