Extremely disorganized interview process. Was screened for a senior manager role, and after a full week of interviewing was told that it would be an IC "leadership" position.
Several of the interviewers had no idea what the role entailed, and said they didn't work with the team it would be on, so they just asked me if I had questions about the company. In another interview, the coordinator had double booked the slot, and we had to reschedule one of them for a different slot.
The one technical interview was rushed, disorganized, and the interviewer became rude and impatient during the coding exercise, not allowing me to explain my thought process, and told me to "just write it in code,"
Months later, I get a rejection email despite the HM saying they'd reach out personally.
Everyone I met was very friendly and seemed bright otherwise. People at Cloudflare seem genuinely happy for the most part, and work on a product suite that really adds value to securing networks. Their interviewing process is just very sloppy, as other reviews have noted. Candidates' time matters, and we put a lot of effort into this process.
