I applied online. I interviewed at Cloudflare (London, England) in Apr 2018
Interview
Interview process was quite long but very interesting. All people I met were respectful and smart. Problems were challenging. mostly they were systems problems but in problem solving context. The first interview was a system design casual discussion. Mainly testing how deep u can go in a conversation about systems.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cloudflare (Denver, CO) in Aug 2025
Interview
Initial technical screen with Hiring Manager; followed up with 6 interviews across 3 days (a coding, a system design, a technical, a leadership, 2 cross-functional interviews). Process was fast (scheduling as well as end result)

Question 1
Coding question - input is a tsv file, extract information based on various columns and create responses.
Most unprofessional interview experience I've ever been through.
I was ghosted during the team match stage after passing all technical rounds of interviews (hiring manager screen, coding screen, coding exercise, system design interview, project retrospective interview, orange cloud interview). Process dragged on for over 5 months until I stopped trying to get a response after being told team match conversations would be scheduled. Total waste of 10+ hours of my time.
Throughout that process there were multiple multi-week periods of silence from Cloudflare. On two separate occasions I had the interviewer no-show only to have the interview rescheduled after I repeatedly asked what the status was.
Interview experience was so unprofessional in communication it was a huge red flag and makes me skeptical the organization is healthy. Very disappointing.
