The hiring manager reached out to me after a week. The interview was scheduled promptly.
Of the 45 min interview I had, the hiring manager might have spoken about them for about 20 minutes. They were also defensive when I suggested that I’ve seen them hire quite a few folks from a single company. I answered the questions with the best of my ability but I was rejected the very next day (got a cookie cutter response)
The company seems to have hired a significant portion of its Data Scientists from a single company which ended up shutting down its Data Science division.
This was/is a big res flag

1 recruiter screen, 3 tech rounds, not too difficult, just brush up on basic python, SQL and behavioral maybe. The entire interview process was quite fast. The interviewers would be folks that you would be working with.
