I applied online. Recruiter contacted me the next day scheduling a phone interview. The interview went on pretty smoothly. He asked generic questions, wanting to understand what I was looking for on a new job, why I was applying for Cloudflare and wanted to make sure I knew what the company is about. He asked in details what I did on each of my previous jobs. After that, he explained what was the next steps of the process: - Interview with the Hiring Manager. - Take-home exercise. - Face-to-face interview in San Francisco. A week later the recruiter contacted me saying they wouldn't move forward with the process because H1Bs were not available for the position. I appreciate the transparency and would certainly apply again if visa sponsorship was available. I wrote this review because my experience was nothing like the past reviews for software engineering. I believe the company is working hard on improving their hiring team and my overall experience was pretty good.
