I had 3 rounds of interviews HR, hiring manager and the team. All have been mutually impressive and positive and the last round I was being clearly indicated “all the best for next round”. Then radio silence for few weeks until I reached out to the recruiter for an update. The recruiter responded with a very generic rejection email. Given I have invested lots of time and the positive experiences, I requested for specific feedback while being absolutely respectful to the decision made. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any further response. Some time later due to my curiosity, I reached out to the manager who did sound very positive about me, but something he cannot share. In any case, I won’t rate this experience as negative, but surprised from a company who preach “transparency” as one of their values.
