Three week process -- a few phone calls with team members, an onsite, reference checks, and a final call. The team is very thorough with their interviews and take time to really get to know you as well as make sure you understand the role and the company mission.

Like any startup company in the Bay Area, Companies are extremely selective about who they hire and the process is long, Cloudflare is no different! As the company is quickly scaling they are very particular about who they hire and what values a new hire will bring to the company. The Interviewing process at Cloudflare is long and can even at times feel frustrating (as there are many stages in the process) In spite of it all, I had an amazing interview experience. I felt as if the team kept me up to date on what stage of the process I was at and when I emailed in any questions, I always received a response within a few hours or less. The fact that the company really took their time hiring me and was so meticulous about each stage that I was at, showed me that they really place a high value on their people and that they truly invest in each candidate. My last stage was a phone call with the founder-which I was really impressed by considering I applied for an entry level role. My advice to others seeking to work at Cloudflare is to be prepared for the process as it can take a few months from application submission to offer and learn as much as you can about the company before applying. Cloudflare is an amazing place to work at and worth the process!
