The only reason for non recommendation is that CloudForce is looking for perfectionist. they have lengthy interviews as compared to other employers. My interview was as following:
1. Received an invite for initial screening, passed it and scheduled another one
2. Interview was scheduled with CTO, Senior Cloud dev and a Senior Dev, only one person showed up and took the technical interview,
3. Second interview went very well, they moved me into another round with the CTO, CTO liked it and invited me for onsite.
4. On the onsite interview, they asked me several questions, it went well, looked at the code and felt like got the job, was told that they would let me know by end of next week.
5. Got a generic rejection email after 2 months of interviewing and I asked for feedback,
6. The Feedback "Other candidate had more number of years of experience"
Moral of the story is "If you claim to be a good company, you should hire people with number of years of experience posted in the Job description and not waste there time."
This is the most worst experience I have ever had because I felt like they truly valued culture, but it didn't seem like it based on there lengthy months long interview process. Rejection is fine, but at least have a courtesy to call and explain the reason of rejection rather than sending generic rejection emails literally after two months of wasting time.
