Club Automation’s interview process is incredibly thorough and certainly requires time and dedication. However, I was very pleased with the entire process, as it left me with a positive impression knowing that the company is committed to finding their best fit.
The first interview consisted of a 30 minute phone screening with the recruiter.
From there, I was given a link via email to complete an online aptitude test and personality assessment. The aptitude test was timed (50 questions in 15 minutes) and tested you on topics like mathematics, pattern recognition, logic, etc. and was very similar to Wonderlic.
About a week later, I then had a follow up video interview with my potential hiring manager.
The last step, and probably most unique experience I’ve encountered on an interview, was having to give a peer presentation. I was given “homework” a couple days prior to the onsite interview that required me to test a web application, and my presentation was to report the issues, bugs and defects found to my potential teammates. My teammates then interviewed me for the remaining time there.
Everyone involved was friendly and approachable, and communication and follow-through from recruiters and the hiring manager was excellent. My questions were always answered promptly and I was never left in the dark regarding next steps.
