After talking to an non-technical HR rep who really was into drinking that "google-ventures" startup Kool-Aid, it became evident that what they said they wanted in the job description is not what they really wanted or needed. By the end I was wondering why I bothered, and was relieved when they contacted me via e-mail the next week that they were moving to other candidates. So at least the process was short, but I got the impression that they're trying a bit too hard to be big-boy Silicon-Valley, when they're a iffy startup in Culver City.
