After the hiring manager missed the first scheduled call, we rescheduled and had an average and relatively pleasant first round phone screen. I was then asked to do a very time consuming take home, which was challenging but reasonable in terms of difficulty, it was a bit much in the amount of time they were asking you to dedicate so early in the process but I was excited about the position at the time. I submitted on time and the weeks started to go by, I followed up about once a week to the hiring manager. I finally received an automated message from a no reply address about 2.5 months later. The role was never a great fit and I have no hard feelings about not continuing, for the best for both parties. But this was an incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional experience, it would be in any circumstance, but is especially egregious after a very time consuming (5+ hours) take home exercise.

Interview
Phone interview was on time. I didn't prepare myself for the case questions (my fault). Difficult to communicate with the interviewer as there were too many noises in the background.
