Interview
I had a phone screen with a recruiter. Conversations were friendly and encouraging. After being told I would be moved on to the next round and to provide with availability in the next week or two. The recruiter never got back to me until I reached out again via email. I was able to get a technical screening afterwards about a week or so later. The technical screen was with two engineers. They asked a lot of technically vague questions, which I imagine is to gauge your general knowledge and then there was a coding challenge via coderpad. Despite answering majority of the questions right and having a working solution for the coding challenge I was passed up for further consideration. Honestly I am not sure what they are looking for, but there are vibes they think of themselves as the google or amazon of storage. Overall, a very enthusiastic company, but should look to create their OWN identity versus trying to be something they're not. Also the recruiter said they'd provide a document entailing what to study for the technical interview, but all they did was say study up on data structures and algorithms in so many words. lol very specific stuff.

Had the first HR screening round and
HM screening round then got an email that internally role is closed.
Overall there was a little communication gap as I had to email them regarding an update
Had a call with a recruiter, and then they schedule an onsite for me 3 months later. They had to fly me out and I booked the flights through them. I decided to stay an extra few days, and paid for accommodations on my own. Less than 12 hours before my flight and a day before the interview, they canceled my flight without talking to me beforehand. They called me two hours after the flight cancelation explaining what "VC" was and telling me they had to cancel the interview because they were no longer hiring for the position for "business needs." Truly awful of them and inconsiderate. Would not interview with this company.
Was sent over to fininsh an online coding challenge. The standardized HackerRank coding challenge was 75 minues long, has one question, and applicants are evaluated based on the coding challenge result.
