Overall, the interview process is thorough - and extremely fair. While does take longer than a typical interview process...the fact that a company is willing to invest so much time into prospective employees speaks volumes about their employee-centered culture. People mean something at CoSchedule (you're not just a cog in a wheel), and their interview process reflects that.
So a quick rundown of the process: It starts with a 1hr phone call where they chat about work history, etc. Then you are asked to completed a hiring packet which talks about company values. I personally enjoyed this aspect, because it gave me a clear picture of the work environment / priorities at CoSchedule. And honestly, it's a great moment to see if you think that CoSchedule is a good match for you. Next, you are given a project (based on the position you apply for), and asked to complete it and then return back to CoSchedule. Once they've reviewed it, you're invited to a 1hr in-person interview to talk about your submitted project. And finally, the last piece of the process is a 3-4hr interview where you get to meet a variety of CoSchedule team members (who are ALL super nice), chat about the role a bit more, and learn even more about the ins-and-outs of CoSchedule.
And again, while the process seems long, it's gives you as an interviewee the most / best amount of information you need to make a good decision about whether or not it's a good fit. Career decisions are important, and people are important. And this interview process is rooted in both notions.
