This was a long process. I got a call about scheduling an interview about a month after applying. Communication was very poor. I showed up early to my interview. The building was extremely busy, so I went to the first desk that was open. It didn't seem like anyone knew about my interview and I had to wait awhile. I had to request the person who called me to schedule the interview before I was led back to where the interviews were being conducted. There were two people interviewing me with various questions related to the job. It felt like it was dragged out and they added in extra unnecessary details or obvious details that didn't need to be said when every one applying already had experience. Both were respectful in general. Fairly easy questions with 2-3 difficult ones. After the interview, I followed up via email and phone to thank them for their time within the week. I followed up a few times the next week and a few times during the 3rd week. On the phone, I could never get through to the people who actually interviewed me. At one point, they stated that the interviewers were out of town and allowed me to leave a message on their answering machine. No reply. I stayed silent the 4th week, but saw the position was still open. I reached out to their HR department during the 5th week and they confirmed the position was open but they could not give me any details if they were in the hiring process with another candidate or if there was a better way to reach out. I received a generic email the 6th week stating that the position was filled. The whole process from applying took 14 weeks with only direct communication twice out of dozens of attempts. Both occurrences of direct communication was when they called me.
