Coca-Cola Consolidated paints a rosy, positive picture of themselves in everything they do. Truth is - there's a lot of disconnect on the inside - which is why the field locations have high turn-over and high dissatisfaction rates among the field employees.
You'd think they'd be interested in a proven internal communications manager who has a track record of success for alignment and engagement of those in the field and has developed the right channels at the right time to reach these audiences.
*Nope*
They're only interested in someone who will sit there and read their core values and purpose back to them for each interview question each and every time. You press them or ask them about a coherent strategy, and you get a disjointed response.
And for what it's worth, their "competitive salary and benefits" are lackluster for the Charlotte market.
Also, of note, for a company that puts so much value into their "core principles" about being people who connect with people, actively caring, etc. etc. - their rejection notice came in a text message. This after 4 interviews including an in-person panel and presentation as part of the process.
