Despite past reviews about their recruitment not always communicating, I had extremely clear and prompt communication from their recruitment team the entire time. Heard back within approximately a week of application. Phone interview with recruiter days afterward. Then a technical interview with two engineers a few days later. It was two hours - one live coding and a conversational one where you present a system design you have worked on and discuss. Their open source interview process takes the edge off, as you can come completely prepared with answers to all questions. I don't see a lot of benefit in stumping people with surprises in the interview process. I completed the live coding round and felt the technical interview, as a whole, went well. I did not receive an offer, but upon reaching out for feedback that I can use in future interviews, I received a prompt response with a detailed evaluation from both parts of the technical interview. Friendly people and make you feel valued throughout the process.
