Cons: * The interview process was very time-consuming, taking several hours of preparation for each interview. * I was disappointed to be told that I was a talented candidate and would be hearing from the recruiter on the next steps, only to be notified by a boilerplate email that they were moving forward with other candidates. * I would have liked to receive more feedback on why I was not selected for the position. Advice to management: * Please be more transparent with candidates about the interview process and timeline. * Please provide more feedback to candidates who are not selected for positions. Overall, I had a positive experience interviewing with Cockroach Labs. The company is clearly a leader in its industry, and I was impressed with the people I met. However, I was disappointed with the lack of communication after the second interview. I would encourage management to be more transparent with candidates about the interview process and timeline.
