Cockroach Labs interview questions

The interview process has been designed to reduce the amount of bias interviewers may bring to the table. There are typical conversations with the hiring manager and recruiter at the start, and then candidates move on to project/exercise-based interviews with members of the team. Interviewers usually evaluate the candidates based on the interviews and only get to review the candidate's resume at the end of the process.

While their interview process was very involved (5 different 1 hour interviews with leaders of 5 separate departments), I truly enjoyed getting to know leadership through these calls. Made me feel like the team was taking very careful consideration over who they wanted to add to their marketing team - which I appreciate.
