      Producer Interview

      Mar 21, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I interviewed at Code and Theory

      Interview

Recruiter seemed like she didn't care about the interview. She 100% was reading off a script. She then proceeded to say "tell me your elevator pitch" in the most condescending way ever. Interviews should be more like a conversation rather than an interrogation. I felt like this was a sales pitch rather than seeing if i was a fit with the company.

      Manila, Manila
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Code and Theory (Manila, Manila) in May 2024

      Interview

The interview process was efficient and well-organized, consisting of multiple rounds. First, I had an introductory call with HR, which mainly focused on my experience and alignment with the company's culture and goals. This was followed by a technical interview where I was asked relevant questions about CRM, project management, and leadership scenarios—areas aligned with my experience in the technology industry. The interviewers were friendly, and the questions were more conversational than intimidating. It felt like they were more interested in how I would approach challenges rather than testing only technical skills. The final round was with senior leadership, where we discussed the company’s direction and how my role would fit into that vision. Overall, the process was transparent, and while I appreciated the follow-ups from HR, I believe the communication could be more proactive. Sending updates on the application status regularly, rather than only in response to inquiries, would provide applicants with clearer expectations and reduce uncertainty during the process.

      Application

I interviewed at Code and Theory

      Interview

Contacted by recruiter via LinkedIn, followed by brief screening interview with the recruiter. Then had second interview with department manager. Interview with the department manager was odd and disorienting. The guy seemed annoyed to be there, and possibly like I was interrupting his afternoon nap. He repeatedly interrupted me mid-sentence to talk about himself (not the role, department, or objectives).
