Interview
The total interview process was conducted as three stages. The first stage was AUTOMATA aptitude and coding test which was available to take from home. this contained general quantitative and verbal AMCAT aptitude questions of moderate difficulty and the coding section was error correction type and you could choose either C++ , C or Java as the programming language for that round. The results of this round would come in 2 weeks time.
The second stage was technical round. In the technical round they asked me just the basics. I had mentioned AI and IoT in y resume hence I was asked about that. They would also ask about your project and ask you to write basic algorithms and programs. The interviewer was friendly and hence this round is not that stressful.
The final round is that HR round for those who were shortlisted from technical round. Here just self introduction, why cognizant etc are asked. Also, prepare about the company.
The only thing to be taken care of is that you answer all the questions with confidence and do your research on the company and be thorough with your project and basic programs like sorting, search, string reversal, program to check whether a number is palindrome or not, fibonocci series etc.. and basic OOP concepts etc.. ( This is from the perspective of a mechanical engineering student.. they might ask more technical deep questions to CS, EC or EEE students)
