Sent in application, a recruiter reached out and made ME call their office instead of the usual professional standard of the interviewer calling (red flag). The recruiter and the director that I would have been working with were based in San Francisco. The director asked very thoughtful questions while the recruiter asked the standard questions pulled off of Google. I felt like the director was very professional and listened to what I had to say, but it didn't seem like a feasible idea with me working from the office in NYC and my would-be boss in San Francisco. Followed up and emails were ignored by the recruiter.
