I went through two interviews and a detailed performance task and then never heard back. I followed up with the hiring manager and did not even receive a response. I understand that hiring is often hectic with a lot of moving parts, but it is unprofessional to not even send a rejection e-mail after an applicant has gone through that many stages of the interview process.
