I applied through other source. I interviewed at Color (Burlingame, CA) in Oct 2020
Interview
Incredibly rude and disrespectful. I wish there was a process. I have over 4x the required experience, specific industry experience, a strong degree and strong specific experience, and got a rejection email from a no-reply email. I reached out to the manager on LinkedIn and wasted an Inmail to literally get no response for well over a month and be ignored. I was able to find a phone number and reached the manager and was told I should use another method to reach him and he hung up on me, after not bothering to return a voicemail. Probably age discrimination. Totally rude and didn't acknowledge there was NO other way to reach them and have a conversation at all. I applied multiple times to jobs I am way overqualified for and they hired someone with a quarter my experience and no industry experience and refused to talk to me about what their concerns are for 5 minutes. The recruiting is being run by awful, discriminatory people, just awful. It's a catch 22. If you call they hang up, but if you wait, they ignore you. Very unfair and nonresponsive attitude and a terrible candidate experience. It looks like a great company but I am very disappointed in how they run things. The manager had over a month to reply and then acted rudely when I finally reached him. It's a no-win situation. Very unfair.
My question: how can I find out your concerns as to why I wasn't interviewed considering I sent an Inmail a month plus ago and applied multiple times and never heard back?
