I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Colorado State University (Fort Collins, CO) in May 2022
Interview
One panel interview, and one 4-hour interview on campus with a timed graphic design task and lunch, which was provided. A bit of a time suck if you're already employed, but a great way to get to know the team more in depth. It was overall very organized and attentive, which I loved.

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Colorado State University
Interview
The hiring process at this university is very slow and formal. it involves a phone interview with the hiring committee who will ask a set list of 6-8 questions and at least one on-campus interview where you will be asked to present at an open forum where anyone across campus can ask questions. There is a tradition of favoring internal candidates, although talent is prioritized for the most part.
