Initial interview was cancelled day of. Rescheduled interview was then postponed 1hr before scheduled time.
After final round never heard back from hiring manager until I inquired for an update.
I applied online. I interviewed at Columbia University (New York, NY) in May 2024
Interview
I had a 30 minute call with the hiring manager as a first round then a 3 hour on-site that included a panel interview, case study, and debrief. Everyone was extremely nice, the questions were fair, and the office was in a beautiful area...but they ghosted me. Absolutely no update on my candidate status after months - only way I found out that I didn't get it is that I logged in to check my candidate status after not hearing back for 2+ months (even after following up). Pretty disappointing for such a prestigious institution, especially after taking a half day off of my current job and trekking all the way there.
