Spoke to an internal recruiter who was friendly and super helpful at first. Also spoke to the hiring manager who was very helpful at first.
Then there was the technical screen. I honestly have no idea what the point of this was. An engineer called and read through a list of questions which I had to respond to immediately. I kept track and we did 46 questions. I passed on 3, got 2 wrong, and got the rest right. It was basically a Unix/SQL/C++ trivia game where he asked rapid fire questions and I had to answer as quickly as possible.
I then found out I failed the technical screen and the recruiter wouldn't respond to my e-mail or phone call asking how. I have no idea what the point of the tech screen is if you can get almost every answer right.
