I saw an ad on Craigslist for a Night Audit position at Comfort Inn in Grand Junction, Colorado. It said apply in person which I did. I received a call the next day and set up an interview for Sunday at 2pm. I arrived 5 minutes early and the manager looked confused when I said I was here for the interview he set up with me. We talked for a grand total of 10 minutes and that "interview" was the most unprofessional one I have EVER been in. I was asked one question "So, where else have you applied?" I was put off with that. Why does it matter? I am here now. I answered politely and moved onto his next few comments about how he is looking for somebody that doesn't suck and does the job. He informed me the last person walked off the clock and needed to fill it quickly. I was told he'd make a decision that day and call either way. Not surprised, I never heard back (this seems to be a common theme on the Western Slope).
