Interview
Recruiter interviewed me and then said I was a good candidate so she set up a call with the hiring manager. Then right before the interview with the hiring manager I get the proverbial "automated" email saying I wasn't a fit for the job. So basically the recruiter wasted MY time because she either didn't have a clear understanding of what they were looking for in terms of talent or I was too old - which happens a lot in the Bay Area these days. Comfy would be fortunate indeed to have someone with my experience and background on their team but I guess the hiring manager and recruiter are NOT on the same page - that's too bad. Advice to recruiter: Stop wasting candidates time if they don't have the specific qualities you are looking for in a role.
