I applied online and received an email requesting a phone interview. Due to some scheduling conflicts on my end, the phone interview happened about 2 weeks after the initial outreach.
My interview with the Lead Recruiter (Alicia) seemed structured to be conversational. We mostly spoke about Comfy, my professional experience and why I was interested in joining the team. I really appreciated Alicia’s transparency as she updated me on the direction the company was moving in. The interview ended on a positive note and from there things moved quickly.
The day after my phone interview, I was asked to complete a take home assignment. It was a three part assignment that assessed my writing and scheduling abilities. Three days after submitting the assignment, I was invited to come onsite later that week.
The team went out of their way to accommodate my schedule and were all very friendly. I was onsite for about three hours and interviewed with five team members. It was clear how strong the culture at Comfy is.The onsite interview questions dug further into my professional experience, ability to problem solve, and ability to work collaboratively. I was given a chance to ask any lingering questions and really appreciated how communicative the team was throughout the entire process. Overall it was one of the most positive experiences I’ve had as a candidate.
