Three round process: phone call with HR, video call with a manager, then a video panel with several people that was 2/3s non-technical conversation and 1/3 coding task. All of the conversational parts of the process were excellent, unfortunately the coding task was not well-conducted and felt like an afterthought.
It was a very dated "do [non-work relevant task], ok what's the time complexity on that? How would we make it faster?" problem that you rarely see in interviews anymore, for good reason: Big O notation is not regularly used in a professional setting. The good news is that this is an easy fix, because there are many examples of short coding tasks that are not academic in nature they could use instead. I hope that they do so in the future because it does seem like they have a positive culture.
