The interview process was really easy. I was applying for their policy intern position in the DC office (note- I was applying for Common Sense Kids Action, the advocacy arm of Common Sense Media) and because I was in the Hampton Roads, VA area at the time, they kindly agreed to do a Skype interview. The whole process took about 20 minutes and seemed like more of a conversation than an interview. The interviewer was nice and seemed genuinely interested in my work experience. After the Skype interview, they asked me to create a memo for a pending bill to judge my writing ability, then I had a second interview with a higher-up, which was conducted via telephone.
