I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Communities In Schools (San Antonio, TX) in Jul 2014
Interview
There were several people who interviewed me, a few Field Managers, and one of the Directors. They all took turns asking your basic interview questions (strengths/weaknesses, experience/skills, why our organization, etc.). They were very warm and welcoming. They had asked me to come prepared to answer several questions specifically pertaining to the job I was applying for as well as the organization itself.
I had 2 interviews. The first with the directors of CIS, the second with a CIS coordinator and the school principal. Same exact questions were asked, fairly easy and casual.

Interview
I was interviewed by two regional managers. They are looking for someone who is independent, creative, and has patience to work with children. Some of the questions were a bit strange “What would make it difficult to work with you?”

I applied and received a request to interview during the same week. I visited the school district building for the interview. I was interviewed by two representatives simultaneously but it was not very intimidating.
