Overall, this was the best interview experience I have yet to experience! CIS was very clear in their communication throughout the interview process, as well as, so friendly. I applied online through the Communities in Schools website. I applied on 1/10/22 & got a call for an initial interview around 1/19/22. The initial interview was over the phone with the HR manager. She was incredibly kind and welcoming! Much like other reviews, she made it feel more like a conversation than a typical interview. The phone interview lasted around 20 minutes, at the end of which she let me know she would be passing my application along to the hiring manager for the position. A few days later I got an email inviting me to a virtual panel interview with 2 staff members (supervisor for the position & a Sr. Field Director). Similar to the first interview, the 2 staff members were incredibly warm and welcoming. They started off the interview introducing themselves and giving a highlight of the benefits CIS offers. They then offered to answer any initial questions before hopping into their interview questions. At the end of the interview, they welcomed any questions, as well as, gave a timeline for when to expect to hear back - I received an offer the next day!
