Applied in person, took about 4 weeks, one interview with sales manager. Basic interview questions. Very easy process, if you know about computers, and electronics. They gave a walk around of the store and ask about different products and had you discuss your knowledge level.
Easy interview, just stay confident and positive and you will have a shot. The stores main goal is to have people that can genuinely assist customers and want to make some money. The technical stuff can be learned but at least research what a cat 5 cable is, you don't want to be completely blank.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CompUSA in Sep 2010
Interview
Pretty simple. They just asked about basic computer and electronic questions and what I am interested in. No preperation necessary, just know what you enjoy about talking with people and selling stuff and you'll make it
