Spoke with a recruiter from the HR team over the phone, it was then followed with an interview with the hiring manager over the phone, then an in-person with the hiring manager and a member of the product marketing team, then another in-person with a more senior member of the product marketing team and a product manager. Along the way I was asked to provide examples of research and was asked to work on a presentation including three areas to address which was cut down to two and then zero when I was told the team would be moving in a different direction. Overall it was fine and they moved quickly when they were interested, but after getting ghosted for a week I was politely told over the phone that the team would be moving in a different direction. They seem like nice people and it looked like they were still figuring things out in terms of organizational design. Definitely not the most immature place when it comes to research and I appreciated the opportunity.
