I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Compass (New York, NY) in Sep 2018
Interview
I had an AWFUL experience with Compass. I applied for this position through a referral. I received an email to schedule a phone interview a little less than a week later. After giving my availability for the following few days, I didn't hear back so I emailed them again with new availability. Eventually, after a short phone call with the hiring manager (in which he asked me no questions about myself), I sent new availability for my second phone interview with someone on the team. When it was time for that, he was too busy and sent someone else- fine, as she was lovely to speak with but didn't have much information regarding the position. I was then asked to submit availability for an in person interview. Once again, I had to do this twice because I didn't hear back after submitting the first time. The hiring manager eventually CC'd me onto another email with a different recruiter who NEVER got back to me. I have yet to hear back after they asked for my availability for an in person interview- almost three weeks ago (and after I followed up three times). This is really such a shame and waste of time. Compass was my first choice but even if this were to work out, I'm completely turned off. So unprofessional and rude.
