I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Computronix (Edmonton, AB) in Sep 2017
Interview
There were 4 rounds of interview (5 if you include the Profile XT personality assessment):
First, an interview with HR. This is done as a screening interview to determine if the personality will fit, and the salary expectations match.
Second, if the personality looks to be a match, they sent a link to an online personality assessment course - Profile XT. Some questions about math, language processing, personality types, and problem solving to make sure that you are within a reasonable range of the rest of the company.
Third, I was brought in for a Technical Interview. This was to check programming ability.
Fourth, I sat down with the VP of HR for another meeting. We spoke further about the whole process so far, and what else to expect, and had a good conversation about my personal and work history.
Finally, the Ops Interview. This was with the Operations Manager who is currently my boss to make sure that I would be a fit with all parts of the team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would your legacy be (ie: what will they remember you for/what will they say about you) at each of your previous companies?
I had an interview with an HR person, who invited me to attend an evaluation course the company was hosting. Over multiple days, they would teach multiple candidates their base product in their training room. Company staff would be available to answer questions and help as needed. Meals were provided, and candidates and staff members were assigned seats to eat and chat. Towards the end of the course, candidates would be required to build a system using what they learned and present it to a set of staff members. During the time that they're building the system, the candidates would be pulled aside for one-on-one interviews as well.
