I applied online, through Dice, and received an email and a phone call from their recruiter the next day. We scheduled the first phone interview at 2pm, but I wasn't actually called until 2:30pm and no explanation or apology was given. The interviewer was incredibly rude to me throughout the process of the actual phone interview. I had asked him to call my captioned phone, because I have a hearing disability, and repeatedly asked him to slow down because the captioning couldn't keep up with how quickly he was speaking. He refused to do so and instead berated me for taking so long to answer questions. The interview quickly turned from him asking about my work history to him demanding to know if I was even capable of doing anything since I apparently couldn't answer simple questions over the phone. He ended the interview abruptly, saying he would go talk to the hiring manager and get right back to me. I emailed him a thank you the next day since I hadn't heard from him, and asked about follow-up information in case I'd missed any important next steps. A week later I received a haphazard email saying that the hiring manager said I wasn't the person they were looking for and I wouldn't be moving forward.
