After applying I received an email about 2-3 weeks later inviting me to sit for an aptitude test. The aptitude test was a 2 parter. First part was Steam Plant related, and consisted of about 130 questions. Second part was 6-7 sections, consisting of math, reading, visual comprehension, mechanics, etc. Each section was timed differently and had a different amount of questions. You must finish each section to pass. About a month later I got the email for an interview. It was a group interview and the panel had 3 Operation Managers from 3 different Plant locations. They took turns asking questions from a list, and took down notes of everything I spoke. There are 2 sets of questions. First set is 20-30 Yes/No questions regarding worker safety. Second set is a bunch of character and ethic based questions. Only rarely did I have to speak on actual work experience or task related experience. Overall, just be honest and use as much details as possible and you will be fine. I interviewed in early December 2020, and have finally received my job offer package first week of March 2021.

I was interviewed by 2 operating manager engineers at the East River Station. First, I handed them my resume and we briefly spoke about it. The interview consisted of 2 sets of questions. The fist set was 23 Yes/No questions, I said yes for all, since they were reasonable requirements that I would agree to complete while working this job. The second set of questions were comprehension, integrity, and some knowledge based questions. They wrote notes or summary of the response no paper. The whole process lasted about 45 minutes.
