I was contacted by email for a phone screen with a recruiter. After making him aware that I was considering other opportunities he immediately coordinated a phone interview with the hiring manager for the following day. A week after speaking with the hiring manager I was contacted again by the same HR rep for a phone conference with 2 senior members. It had been over a week since I had heard anything at this point so I contacted the HR rep to find out that they were focusing on additional clients. I found this inconsiderate considering how far in the process. If nothing else they could have sent an automated rejection email. My recommendation is to recognize how easily things are left to fall through the cracks at companies of this size.
